Should I tip the movers?
Here’s one opinion:
“100 bat per person is more than enough. Give it to the leader and tell him it is for the team. You can also provide water or other cold beverages (energy drinks, teas, soda, etc.)- offer the drinks throughout the time they are there and then bag up what’s left or give them more for the road. Unlike other countries, you do not need to tip here as salaries are scaled for each job. If they are not, you will automatically be charged a service fee. When you give it to the leader, make sure some of the other workers see it. Otherwise they might just pocket all of it.”
