BBFL offers neighbourhood Thai children and adults access to books, games, magazines as well as free weekly English classes. The BBFL also operates a satellite “Library Corner” at the Home for the Destitute (a large government run residential facility for homeless people).
WHAT: Assisting with weekly English classes (for both children and adults). Assisting with general library duties.
WHEN: Sunday afternoons for English classes. Various times for general library duties.
WHERE: The BBFL is located just outside the front gate of Nichada (to the left and down approximately 500m)
VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES: Volunteers will assist with English learning activities such as games, puzzles, reading etc. Additionally, volunteers can assist with general library duties which would include cataloguing incoming books, assisting library patrons with finding books, checking in and out of books, etc.
